How to change PHP version?

When using third party applications or the newest version of some software you need to be sure that PHP version corresponds to the requirements. If you need a higher or lower version you can change it yourself from cPanel.

Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to service's main page
  2. Scroll down to Control Panel section.
  3. Press cPanel button.
  4. When cPanel is open scroll down to Software section.
  5. Press Select PHP version button.
    - The page will show you which PHP version you are using at the moment.
  6. Choose wanted PHP version from the select box.
    - A section with all possible PHP modules will expand. Some of them are preselected for each PHP version. If you need some specific module to be activated you can click on its checkbox. Press save button at the bottom to save the module set.
  7. Press "Set as current" when you’re ready with defining PHP modules.

Available PHP versions on our servers: 5.6, 7.3, 7.4

Please note that changing PHP version will affect all applications (websites) on your hosting plan. You can always reverse it back to a previous version if necessary.
